Whoever is responsible for selecting the lights on the pedestrian crossing signs on 96th street needs to see what has been done to the STOP signs on Central Ave. in SIC. While the current lights are an improvement over the previous ones, they still are not "bright" enough to get a driver's attention when someone is in the crosswalk. The setup on the SIC STOP signs are very noticeable to a driver and are more effective for pedestrian safety.
