The Villas spouter asking American Jews to pray for their homeland forgets the particularly diverse makeup of American society. We are a polyglot mixture of a variety of races, cultures and religions, and if we all were to pray for some ancestral homeland, we would cease to exist as one nation, under God. Too much emphasis on Israel is not helpful to American Jews.
