I am a single, slightly passed middle age male who currently lives alone in Pennsylvania and in a modest seashore condo. I drive past a supermarket and popped in, spur of the moment, to buy some rye bread, paper plates and some fresh fruit. When I got to check/out I had to buy a bag? Why would I carry an around a shopping bag. Don’t carry a ‘purse’or satchel around with me. I am wearing jeans and a flannel shirt. I don’t store ‘junk’ in my nice car. Every thing I bought was wrapped in PLASTIC. What is with this law? Is it set up to make money for the stores selling bags?
