The 2024 Budget that the Borough Coucil has introduced includes budget cuts that will impact each department. There will be no salary increase for non-union employees and department heads however there is a $50,000 line item increase for attorney fees and a $100,000 increase for a HR professional added within the budget. The fianance committee continues to note the CAP deficit of over $400,000. With a deficit that large how can Borough Council even consider adding line items in totaling $150,000?
