With their new pay scale, all the quality local lifeguard candidates will be in Stone Harbor this year. The rest of the towns will be fighting over the kids who don't get hired there, IF they can even get enough people to try out. You have to wonder if it will take a tragedy for the neighboring towns to respond. MAYBE, be proactive and change your salaries before the summer season arrives so we don't have to deal with closed beaches because of a lack of staffing!
