Over 3,000 people responded to Sea Isle's master plan survey about how the town's future development should be handled. Amid positive compliments about events, services, police, and beautification were overwhelming objections to over-sized, double houses and mixed-use condo/retail monstrosities that recently cropped up to dwarf neighboring homes and compound the parking fiasco. City council seemed incapable of prompt action recommended by the planning board. Elected officials need to be responsive to the public's clear wish to preserve the town atmosphere that existed before overbuilding.
