What is going on in Washington?

Rio Grande - What is going on in Washington? I am receiving emails requesting money from Team Elise Stefanik and Senator Lindsey Graham. They are saying that the money is needed to hold off attacks from Democrats who want to remove them from office. Why can't they all work together in Congress to get things accomplished, instead of trying to remove the president because some say they can't beat him? I have always voted for the person I thought would do the best job.
