Rio Grande - All of the education reforms are ruining the teaching profession. They are all just attempts to fix what isn't broken. Teachers don't need to be subjected to more needless evaluations, which are nothing more than the opinion of an administrator. Also, teachers don't need to be told how to teach by NJ, the federal government, or administrators. The overemphasis on standardized tests and test scores needs to stop. Teachers just want to be left alone and to be allowed to teach without micromanagement.
