At the township meeting June 16, I heard two young people speak passionately about their concerns and interests on decisions being made by committee. One spoke about the skateboard park and the other about the liaison position created for a non-profit organization. Both gave compelling speeches. The young man was treated with respect and the skateboard issue was tabled. The young lady unfortunately was dismissed by the mayor. Her words may have been strong, but she too deserved respect.
