One of the biggest problems with Crest Memorial is that too many of the people making decisions have little or no financial stake in the Wildwood Crest community.The administrators don’t live in Wildwood Crest, yet they are making decisions that directly affect local taxpayers and the school budget. That disconnect matters. You also have board members who rent rather than own property in the community. When it comes to controlling spending and protecting taxpayers, that raises legitimate questions about how much personal financial responsibility they have for the decisions they make.
