Littering is epidemic everywhere and overwhelms our public resources and funding to have it addressed properly. This spouter's point is well taken that communities and homeowners need to step up and do this chore themselves. Wouldn't it be great if everyone tended the fronts of their own properties and the property directly across the street as well? Everyone pitches in and everyone benefits as our local streets stay free of cans, bottles, bags, paper, trash, etc.
