Ocean City - Motorized vehicles have no place on the Ocean City boardwalk. The city must ban them to protect not only the many children but unsuspecting walkers, runners and recreational bicyclists not aware that they are at risk. I shudder when I hear one of them bearing down behind me as they are always traveling faster than they should. I counted ONE police officer on the boardwalk on a very busy Friday AM. No wonder Chief Prettyman has never “ witnessed” an E bike being operated dangerously. Get yourself out on that narrow part of the boardwalk and it will be obvious a terrible accident WILL occur.
