Ocean City - The elected officials should be ashamed and voted out of office for rejecting the planned real estate office at the base of the 9th Street bridge. The real estate office would create jobs and pay property taxes. No wonder why business is fleeing New Jersey, one of the worst states to run a business in, and Ocean City is a perfect example of how bad it really is.

Moderator's Note:
According to a Herald article Jan. 13, "Plans for a real estate office on the southeast corner of Ninth Street and Bay Avenue, the former site of an Exxon gas station, were denied Jan. 11 by the Planning Board, citing traffic concerns ..." Is it conceivable that a real estate office would have more traffic than an Exxon station?
