West Cape May - I know the county's farmland preservation program allows buildings to be constructed on preserved land if the owner intends to use the property as a winery, but that's the problem! The taxpayers got nothing for their money. The West Cape Winery may have had a home on it already but the two other large buildings were just recently constructed. You can't say the land is "preserved" if anyone can just declare themselves a winery and build whatever they want. The West Cape May Winery certainly should not have been allowed to build so far back off the road.

Is the spouter contending that they did not follow the regulations?
