In response to a SH spouter: Yes, .08 is a very low limit, but it is in line with almost all of the other states, and even higher than some other civilized countries. They are wrong; texting and speeding does not cause more fatal crashes than DUI. The DUI laws do not exist to raise revenue for government nor to justify police jobs; they save lives. Obviously the spouter has never had a friend or relative killed by a drunk driver. If someone can't drink responsibly, then DUI laws are needed to protect the public.
