I spouted that the silence of U.S. and Canadian moderate Muslims bespeaks of their tacit support of the radicals, to which the editor commented, "Is that what it shouts? Could it be possible that it's fear?" I am sure that Muslims in America have far less to fear from their radical brethren in the rest of the world than do we "infidels," which includes not only Christians and Jews, but also Buddhists, Bahais, Hindus, Sikhs, etc. I have not heard one prominent Muslim cleric in the U.S. or Canada decry the violence and extremism of groups like ISIS.
