North Wildwood - When I was growing up I had many uncles who came and went. I never understood why they always spent time with my mom and not me. One day I heard my mom telling someone that she was an only child and that our dad was an only child too. So where did all our uncles come from? I don't miss them because they came and went so fast and they never knew my name. What I did miss was my mom spending time with me instead of all my uncles. Now that I'm an adult I understand why I wasn't allowed to tell my dad about my visiting uncles. Glad to say my kids have no uncles, only parents that know their names.
