North Wildwood - It is tragic about the 7-year-old Guatemalan girl who died in Texas. No child should have to endure such poverty let alone die as a result but where is the responsibility of her parents? Child couldn't read or write and had no shoes. In the AP story detailing the poverty in which she lived there was a photo of her mother holding a smart phone which showed a picture of her daughter. Choosing a smart phone over shoes was a conscience decision.
