North Wildwood - This new bag law is an awesome idea. However, the elderly aren’t adjusting to it well. The cashier’s responsibility for bagging groceries, Is Gone. As simple as it sounds to bag your own items, it isn’t as simple for the elderly. When I saw the cashier at Shoprite huff and puff and stand there with her arms crossed while this woman struggled to keep up was heartbreaking. Yet it doesn’t seem like the store cares because nothing is changing. Aldi has a great system that works, please consider this method for the future. These prices should be much better if we are doing their jobs.
