North Wildwood - Mason-Dixon line: I myself recently read a story regarding the beginning of the Cape May railroad and it referenced some of the people in Cape May were annoyed with the visitors from the north, meaning those on the train from Philadelphia. It further explained that the annoyance had to do with Cape May locals being below the Mason-Dixon line because back in the 1800s, the line went along the top of Delaware's border following a specific north latitude line, then went across the Delaware river through New Jersey to about the southern part of Long Beach Island. Interesting history.
