I have not used Uber in the past but I know from experience that

North Wildwood - I have not used Uber in the past but I know from experience that my town in central NJ is not allowing Uber to pick up or drop off at our train station (similar to Sea Isle). The reason being is that the non-Uber taxi drivers are upset and have complained to our mayor and council that they need to buy a permit from my town and pay for expensive car insurance coverage, both items that Uber does not have to purchase. Knowing that Sea Isle charges non-Uber taxi drivers for the same taxi permits, it seems Sea Isle does not want to lose that taxi permit revenue.
