It's really sad to see the disrespect and disdain locals have for us "shoobies". I think you mean "people", which is what we actually are. People who pay property taxes twelve months a year like you do, but do not benefit from them in the way you do. You don't mind taking our money year round or even the money brought in during the summer season especially from the renters we bring in. Tell me, how do you classify your "permanent" residents who fly down to Florida during the winter months. Are they unwelcome too? Maybe you need to get off your island and see how the world actually lives.
