It is not surprising at all that there were so many people undecided about the vote in the Iowa caucus. The Republican debates were a debacle. Although most of the candidates appear to be highly intelligent, their platforms are very scattered. I kept looking for someone to grab my vote. At least three of the candidates did nothing but spew hostilities at President Obama and didn't say much else. The others had strong opinions on topics about which they were familiar but it was obvious that they weren't qualified to take on the most important job in the country. Not enough substance.
