If all the businesses are closed this summer, how will I be able to get my deserved government assistance that gets me through the winter along with Social Security? Like many other local CMC seniors who are entitled, we normally have friends put us on the payroll to be eligible for Unemployment Insurance benefits by saying we earned at least $172 per week during 20 or more weeks. While those other people steal from taxpayers in getting Welfare, Unemployment Insurance is our right. If no Unemployment this year, does anyone know another government program that I can get?
