I think the spout about the price of properties on the island and folks won't be able to live here is accurate. How many young families can afford a half million or more for a house? I have lived here 70 years, I don't think many can afford 3k a month mortgage, insurance, taxes & utilities. BTW, find me a year round rental, there are none.
