The world has changed. Security and safety for our Lower Township students in all schools is very important to all of us. The security changes being proposed in the Jan 26th school bond referendum for this issue I fully support. However, I cannot support spending $2,812,500 for new construction at Lower Twp. High School for a free-standing field house for sports which represents 44.16% of the total cost projection, with another $250,000 or 3.9% for team locker upgrades. Security costs represent 8.8%. If we are going to be responsible for our students, I think we have our priorities mixed up.
