Monday morning (Feb. 13), more like mourning for Eagles fans. It didn't take long for the Philly sports stations and some of the fans to come up with excuses for the big loss. First one. The pass interference call. Second. Crowd noise from the Chiefs fans. Third. A wet field, especially around the painted areas. Fourth. The extended halftime giving Pat Mahomes more time for his ankle to heal. Same old, same old from local sports announcers and the fans. Bottom line, the Chiefs were the better team.
