Middle Township - Shame on the Herald. They failed to reveal an Oct. 5 letter to the editor attacking Middle Township Mayor Michael Clark was written by Carol Mattessich's husband Ravitz. It just so happens that Mattessich has a big county job as the Cape May County economic development coordinator. This is disgraceful journalism with the intent to demean our fine mayor. One has to wonder if there is a quid pro quo involved especially since Mayor Clark's opponent's signs are on Ravitz and Mattessich's front lawn.

We wouldn't necessarily know who is married to whom, and even if we did know, he is entitled to his opinion.
