Middle Township - I wrote a note to pick up my child from Middle Twp. Elementary No. 1 at 3:05 p.m. I arrived and wasn’t allowed in the building. I was told to go to the gym to retrieve my child. By the time I was able to get my child, it was 3:20 p.m. We arrived at the doctor late and were required to reschedule the appointment. There was no mention of this at back to school night or on the website. No one called me to let me know I wouldn’t be able to pick up my child at this time. I always thought schools tried to build community by supporting parents. I was simply trying to keep my child in class as long as possible.
