Has anyone else noticed how stores have less and less cashiers?

Middle Township - Has anyone else noticed how stores have less and less cashiers? The self-checkout lines are growing and the actual cashiers are disappearing. I like human contact when I check out. I will use self-checkout if I have a few items, but for a full cart, I like a cashier. It seems they are phasing out another job at stores.
