Middle Township - To the casual observer, the 89th Academy Awards ceremony appeared to be a re-enactment of the Democratic presidential campaign. There was lots of glitz, Hollywood stars, entertainment, bad Trump jokes, Bernie Sanders (played by Matt Damon) swept aside, a busload of voters, and at the very end, a nasty surprise. It seems like the same management team ran both events.
