There seems to be a lot of spouters who have missed the point about officers eating. The spouter states that the problem is that breakfast is as soon as the officers get on duty. It does not matter who it is; police, public works or anyone else getting paid with taxpayer dollars. There are protocols to follow for every employee. No one is trying to deny them of what is due, but an officer taking an hour first thing in the morning at $50 an hour is over $18,000 a year, and then they take their official break later in the day.
