Schools should be closed for the whole week of Thanksgiving instead of having a full week off for the 1st week of November. Parent/Teacher conferences can be the week before Thanksgiving with half days. I know there is the NJEA that’s fine but move some days around so we can get a full week off for Thanksgiving. The southern states do it. Makes so much sense.
