Lower Township - I have an idea. In the old days, up in one of our northern cities, the cops used to have 'call boxes' at various locations, where they used the telephone (land line) to stay in touch with headquarters. This was the days before walkie-talkies and cell phones, of course. When I was a cop, I used to use them to place all the confiscated beer I got from kids. So, how 'bout this: Create a system of e-bike battery stations (like the big call boxes we had) to keep spare batteries for e-bike cops on the beat? Don't have them yet? Well, let me recommend the front wheel retrofit motors. Easy transition.
