Lower Township - To the editor who always offers excuses for the businesses in Villas, recently, the car-repair shop being operated on a front lawn near the park on Peter’s Road had a large truck up on jacks about 2 feet from the street, with no fence between it and any children chasing a ball or a dog on their way to the park. This is one of the reasons zoning laws exist, to protect residents from poor judgment resulting in hazardous and/or unpleasant conditions near their homes.
