A better idea: alligator-filled moats or barbed-wire fences surrounding every school, or perhaps a mini-version of Trump's border wall around every side of school buildings, a portal with a security gate, metal-detecting devices, and armed-guard protection would allow students to pass through the 30-foot-high walls, but ultimately what is needed is bullet-proof students; all students will be encased in a suit of Kevlar, or we could eliminate the Second Amendment.
