Lower Township - Democrats don’t seem to understand, and I believe never have understood, that the people who would commit violence, and not the manner in which they do it is the problem that needs to be addressed. Japan has among the strictest gun control in the world, yet former Prime Minister Abe, a man whose style I greatly admired, was assassinated with a home made gun recently. The fact that perpetrator’s will move on to other, perhaps more extreme methods shows the folly of trying to blame a specific object for these tragedies, and highlights the failure of reduce accountability and punishment.
