There are three past/present Republican committee members on the Lower Township MUA; Sheftz, Biting, and Frisoli. This is why the two Republican councilmen; Conrad and Simonsen, will not vote to save $1 million by dissolving the MUA. We in this town are sick of the waste, as well as the disgraceful actions of the entire MUA. But no, the MUA is a cash cow for politicians running for office. For instance, an engineering firm gives money at the upper levels of the Republican party, which then filters down to local candidates.
