Someone in the admin. dept of the Herald has made a "very" clear mistake on page A18 of the Dec. 9 Spout Off. "In blue" was written, "Oceans have been rising for centuries, a foot a year." Really, I've lived in Cape May for over 50 years and if that were the case, my home would be completely under water! Tonys Railways are still there, the Lobster House is still there, the Coast Guard base is still there, Washington Street is still there, thank God the C-view is still there. Better check that again! In my 55 years of life, "nothing" has changed very much that I can see.
