Instead of cutting teachers, Lower should be cutting administrative positions. Not every school needs both a principal and vice principal. And combining schools isn’t the solution either, it will only create overcrowding and bigger classroom sizes. I agree with what Stone Harbor is doing. They’re cutting positions that are not directly hands-on with students, rather roles where responsibilities can be absorbed by existing staff. That makes far more sense than eliminating teachers or aides. Why are they not cutting teachers or aids? BECAUSE THEY ARE NEEDED! Tell me I’m wrong.
