Cape May

I lived about an hour north of NYC at the time, and was working from home that day. I had the TV on, and couldn't believe my eyes. I called my Dad, we were watching together although 200 miles apart. We couldn't believe our eyes. We knew many people who worked in Manhattan and our thoughts went to them - were they safe? alive? When the first tower crumbled, I didn't believe what I was seeing. I couldn't comprehend it. Our small community of 20,000 lost 3 Dads that day, 1 was a NYC fireman with 6 small children. The grief was overwhelming. How could this happen?
