For a city full of Republicans, the overreach and micromanaging of property owner’s trees is astonishing. If I own the property and want to take down a tree, it should be my business. I have never before lived in a place with as many busybodies who think that everything belongs to them and is their business. The city can maintain their trees anyway they like. Keep your nose out of my business. If I want a tree to come down, it is coming down. The city can decide what it wants to do after it is in the chipper.
