Dennis Township - A front page Gazette article titled, "Cost issues dog county animal shelter" serves as an example of our invisible elected officials in Dennis Township. Three municipalities (Middle, Woodbine, Dennis) will not be able to shelter dogs at the county facility because they have not signed contracts. Prominent comment and explanation was forthcoming in this article from councilmen in Middle and the mayor in Woodbine, but there was not one single word of comment from anyone in Dennis Township.
