Lazy, inept government workers are created by politicians. Those in power award jobs to their friends and allies and then turn their heads when these people cannot or will not do the job that our tax dollars pay them to do. The government workers who give their all do so because they take pride in their job performance and want to earn their paychecks. The sad part is that those that give their best will, in time, burn out as they are constantly leaned on to pick up the slack and yet have to watch as promotions and raises are given for reasons other than merit.
