Any township worker talking or texting on a cellphone while operating a township vehicle should be fired on the spot. This is a widespread problem with the township's public works department and should have been addressed long ago. There is no reason that drivers and laborers need cellphones. The township truck striking the school bus a few months ago should have been the wake-up call. Ban cellphones during the work day before someone gets killed.
