All the time and print space that we've exhausted arguing about the slogan and movement name, "Black Lives Matter," would have been better spent having dialogue about the complex problems faced by minorities. Perhaps those accused of complicity because they are "silent" are simply waiting for the destruction, finger-pointing, name-calling, false generalizations, propaganda and other distractions to die down so that meaningful discussions can take place. Or is doing the actual work of genuine reform too much effort?
