What can one really surmise about Trump's political endorsements

Court House - What can one really surmise about Trump's political endorsements other than it is nothing but political games played by our politicians? Trump is first a national story that he won't endorse Ryan, McCain, and Ayotte. Then comes national news about a Trump "intervention" by the Republican establishment and Ryan states that his previous endorsement of candidate Trump "is not a blank check" to destroy the Republican Party. Lo and behold, three days later, Trump grandstands at a rally and triumphantly endorses all three in the name of political unity.
