Witnessing what happened to a veteran teacher at the Middle Twp. school board meeting Aug. 20 was unconscionable. The fact that he was charged with "bullying" someone by standing up for someone else is disgusting. Worse, the superintendent recommending firing someone for such an offense is ridiculous. That the board would be in agreement is even worse. Shame on the parents for teaching their child that this is how you handle an issue. And shame on the parents who the teacher stood up for, for not thanking him for doing so and publicly coming to his defense. A great loss for the school.
