Some may label this an “anti-religious” Spout, I just consider it thought provoking: “Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then He is not omnipotent. Is He able but not willing? Then He is malevolent. Is He both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is He neither able nor willing? Then why call Him God?” – (Epicurus). If your pat, go to answer is “free will”, then you haven’t been very "intellectually mature” yourself, just blindly accepted what you have been told as “God’s Will”, “Mysterious Ways”, and all that, as gospel (pun intended).
