Let me get this straight, people want to take an already dangerous job, law enforcement, and make it even more dangerous by making it easier for people, mental or not, to injure or kill the cops. And then you want the cops arrested for defending themselves? How you going to pay anybody enough to want to that job? The criminals are winning. The cops don’t dare stop them and don’t date fight with them if they resist arrest. The odds of being a successful and safe criminal are lots better than being a cop.
